Thistledown management has moved first post to 11:30am Tuesday, June 30th through Thursday, July 2nd due to excessive heat. Training on those three days will be conducted from 5:30am to 9am with no break and the starting gate in operation from 8am to 9am each day.

Thanks to the ongoing support of the Ohio HBPA the trustees of the THHF have voted to make the following increases in the Thoroughbred Horsemen’s Health Fund effective April 1, 2026. Dental was $1,200 per year beginning April 1, 2026 becomes $2,250 per year. Vision was $350 every other year beginning April 1, 2026 becomes $500 every other year. The Jockeys’ Guild and Ohio HBPA have reached an agreement on a revised losing mount fee scale for Mahoning Valley, Belterra Park and Thistledown.
